Todd M. Farrar

Managing Partner | Mississippi Gulf Coast Personal Injury Attorney

Todd M. Farrar is a managing partner at HFFR Injury Attorneys, formerly Haug, Farrar, Franco & Ruiz, PLLC. He represents injury victims and families across the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Gulf South in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including car accidents, 18-wheeler and commercial trucking collisions, motorcycle crashes, slip-and-fall and trip-and-fall incidents, medical malpractice, pharmacy negligence, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and other complex injury matters.

For Todd, personal injury law is personal. When he was in eighth grade, he and his father were hit head-on by a drunk driver on Highway 43 in Mississippi. His father’s long recovery, pain, and lasting limitations gave Todd an early understanding of how one careless decision can change an entire family’s life. That experience continues to shape the way he represents clients today: by listening carefully, explaining the process clearly, and preparing every case with the evidence, medical proof, and trial focus needed to demand accountability.

Todd is known for being direct, persistent, and practical. Clients often come to HFFR after the worst day of their lives, facing medical bills, missed work, insurance adjusters, and uncertainty about the future. Todd’s goal is to take that pressure off his clients while building a case that fully accounts for what they have lost — physically, financially, and personally.

As a trial lawyer, Todd understands how insurance companies evaluate injury claims and how to position a case for settlement or trial. He focuses on proving liability, damages, causation, and the real-world impact an injury has on a client’s life. Whether the case involves a commercial vehicle crash, unsafe property condition, negligent medical care, or disputed insurance coverage, Todd works to make sure his clients are not treated like just another claim number.

Todd has been selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2022–2024 and has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. He earned his law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2011 and his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in 2008. He is licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi and is active in legal and civic organizations throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Outside the office, Todd lives in Ocean Springs with his wife, Amy, and their children. He enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing, boating in the Mississippi Sound, and staying involved in the local community.

If you or someone you love has been seriously injured, Todd and the team at HFFR Injury Attorneys are ready to listen, explain your options, and fight for the compensation you deserve.
